The Ovation CE44P-FKOA is part of the attractive Celebrity Elite series of electro-acoustic guitars. Each of the Celebrity Elite models features the renowned Ovation Roundback body, made of the synthetic composite Lyrachord, as well as a number of luxury characteristics, such as unique and beautifully decorated upper bout sound holes. Additionally, this Plus edition is equipped with a gorgeous top made of figured koa, a wood type with a beautiful grain, and adorned with chic abalone purfling.
The Ovation Sound of the CE44P-FKOA
The large and small sound holes in the upper bout of the CE44P-FKOA are more than just stylish decorations. They enhance the transparency of the trebles and provide the bass tones with more balance and focus. Combined with the ingenious Roundback body, they ensure the crisp, tight and powerful Ovation sound. Take this electro-acoustic western guitar with you on stage and you'll notice that it sends an impressive output to your mixer, without suffering from feedback. You can adjust the timbre of the instrument using the 3-band equalizer of the OP-4BT preamp, and tune the instrument by means of the built-in tuner.
The Famous Ovation Guitars
Ovation guitars stand out thanks to their impressive sustain, volume and projection. They are the result of Ovation's devotion to perfecting the acoustic construction of a guitar. The Roundback design and the lightweight, rugged composite Lyrachord play an important role. In Ovation's famous electro-acoustic models, for instance - which already featured a pickup/preamp system back in the 1970s - the roundback construction reduces feedback to a minimum.
