General

Following on from the tighter regulations regarding the use of rosewood, many guitar manufacturers have been looking at using more environmentally-friendly alternatives. Martin Guitars' DCRSG is an electro-acoustic steel-string guitar with a solid Sitka spruce top and a back and sides made of mutenye. This type of wood produces a warm sound with excellent projection, good bass response and plenty of definition in the mids and trebles. The DCRSG is a dreadnought model with a cutaway that makes the higher frets more easily accessible.

DCRSG: a genuine Martin

The solid Sitka spruce top offers brightness and sparkle with the hardwood neck and Richlite fretboard adding their own sound characteristics and excellent feel to this guitar. It's equipped with a Fishman Sonitone pickup system that faithfully amplifies the acoustic sound and it also comes complete with a case so that you can keep it safe when you're not playing it or when you want to get it from A to B.
