Carefully put together with today's acoustic guitarists in mind, the Ibanez PA300E is a superb steel-stringed jumbo guitar with an asymmetrical body that guarantees extreme levels of playing comfort and effortless percussive taps and slaps. Not only that, the unique slab of solid German sitka spruce selected for the top combines with a pau ferro back and sides for even more definition.

The PA300E: Full Control Over Finger-Picked Tone

Despite its steel strings, the PA300E is cut out for fingerpicking styles, offering players full control over the tone via a Custom Electronic preamp fitted with three individual volume controls for the pickups. Here, the T-bar undersaddle pickup shapes that well-known piezo-sound, but you're also getting a magnetic pickup fitted near the sound hole. And there's more...

Amplified Body Tapping Techniques

Seeing as so many modern players often open up a box of rhythmic guitar tricks, Ibanez have also decked out the PA300E with a special contact pickup to accurately capture body-tapping sounds. Naturally, the volumes and blends of the three pickups can be adjusted in minute detail, and the end result can be directly sent to one or two DIs in mono or stereo if needed. In terms of tasteful finishing touches, you're treated to a mix of different lacquer finishes, an unbleached bone nut, a practical top-loading bridge and a sumptuous macassar ebony fretboard. Oh, and to keep all of that and the rest of the guitar in perfect condition, Ibanez even include a premium gig bag!
