General

Ibanez present the AW417CE. A tastefully formed electro-acoustic dreadnought with a wider-than-average neck to make life a little more comfortable for guitarists with larger hands or to ease the transition for musicians more used to the classical guitar. The solid sitka spruce soundboard adds pure, classic looks while providing a wide, resonant tonal foundation. The flamed okoume back and sides complete the luxurious whole.

The AW417CE: Comfortable, Tight, and Clean Amplification

The wood used to build the body of this guitar ensures a rich, transparent acoustic foundation for sweet and sultry accents, and while the 15.75-inch fretboard radius provides your fret hand with snug playing comfort, your playing hand is given a tight and accurate playing feel by the 25.6-inch scale length. A T-bar piezo pickup has been fitted under the saddle to guarantee a pure and uninterrupted amplified sound that can be tweaked using the integrated AEQ-TP2 preamp, giving it a little extra on-stage warmth, and for that convenient finishing touch, a tuner has even been built-in.

Een aanvulling op mijn eerdere review na 6 weken gebruik van deze gitaar: Je moet er rekening mee houden dat de gitaar niet afgesteld geleverd wordt. Bij mijn exemplaar stond de hals hol en de snaren ruim te hoog, dus topkam afstellen. De op de gitaar meegeleverde snaren best direct vervangen. Tevens ontbrak in mijn levering een inbussleutel voor afstelling. Hier is een 4mm inbus voor nodig.

Vorige week deze Ibanez gekocht bij Bax in de winkel in Goes.
De keuze voor deze gitaar gemaakt voor de 48mm brede hals.
Ik ben een beginnend gitarist die ook een Alhambra 4C bezit.
Om meer variatie te hebben in het leren spelen deze Ibanez er bijgekocht.
Door de halsbreedte is de combinatie met deze beide gitaren goed mogelijk.
De klank van dit instrument is goed en wat je in deze prijsklasse mag verwachten.
De ingebouwd tuner is zeker een pluspunt.
Hoe eea versterkt klinkt moet ik nog achter komen. Volgende aanschaf een Amp?
