General

The Ibanez AEG1812II is an electro-acoustic 12-string guitar with a slender, cutaway body that has a top made of spruce and a back and sides made of sapele. It produces a powerful, well-balanced, sparkling tone and is comfortable to play too. That's partly down to its shorter 24.96-inch scale length which means the strings have a nice, light tension. The AEG1812II is equipped with a Fishman Sonicore pickup and an AEQ-SP2 preamp that can deliver the acoustic sound to an amplifier via the balanced XLR or jack outputs. The preamp features a built-in tuner and you can easily customise your tone using the bass, treble and volume controls.
