Part of the Advanced Acoustics Series, the Ibanez AAD300CE electro-acoustic bears a grand-dreadnought body, modern playing comfort, and majestic acoustic sound backed up by flexible preamplification. The body is around 5% larger than the average dreadnought, hence 'grand', and has been specially developed to offer a more tight and manageable feel. This has then been fitted with a dove-tail-joined nyatoh neck that's undergone thermo-ageing for maximum stability, while the Low Oval Grip profile combines with a rounded Macassar ebony fretboard to provide a snug grip, and the modern Advanced Access Cutaway accommodates a smooth transition to the highest frets.

The Ibanez AAD300CE: Flexible Preamplification

Ibanez has finished the solid Sitka spruce soundboard with modern scalloped X-M bracing which teams up with a scalloped ebony bridge to ensure lush resonance packed out with clear basses, full mids, and bright trebles, all of which pulls outstanding definition out of the strings. The okoume back and sides add a sweet layer of warmth and boosted projection to the foundation sound, and for comprehensive amplification, two internal pickups have been fitted. A magnetic AP11 pickup and a contact-pickup combine to register a complete tonal image which is then processed by the Custom Electronics preamp. Adjust and balance the output of both pickups to shape a wide array of possible on-stage sounds.
