General

The Guild BT-240E Baritone is a superb side-kick for deeper-voiced singer-songwriters. This Newark St. Collection electro-acoustic guitar sounds beautifully tight and comes tuned in B (BEADF#B) as standard, as well as pre-fitted with a set of 27-inch scale-length-compatible strings for consistent sound and dependable tuning stability. To guarantee ample volume and sustain, Guild have granted this jumbo model a solid soundboard supported by special OX bracing.

The BT-240E Baritone: Step Straight Into the Spotlight

The solid Sitka spruce soundboard ensures a fully-grown, full-range sound whether in standard or any lower tuning, where the mahogany neck and matching body naturally round out the highs, while the compensated bone saddle and bone nut not only aid but stabilise the acoustic resonant transfer. So you can step on stage with maximum confidence, Guild have finished the BT-240E with a piezo pickup wired to a Fishman Sonitone GT-1 preamp and a set of accurate volume and tone pots.
