General

Czech master-builders, Furch have endowed the G-CY Indigo edition of the Master's Choice Series with nothing but the best quality woods applied using the best techniques. Beneath the neutral and natural aesthetic of the open-pore finish, the sides and back have been shaped from selected African mahogany to fill out the sound with traditional warmth, while the dark ebony fretboard and solid western red cedar soundboard rounds off a rich tonal profile.

The Indigo G-CY SPE: Lush Warmth & Subtle Presence

Compared to spruce, the wood choices ensure a softer, more subtle presence where both lighter and heavier note attack is given equal definition - a balance that particular shines in the hands of finger-pickers. And, to ensure that the notes of any chords are given an even, dynamic, and harmonic presence, Furch have specially tuned the soundboard. That said, the more rounded sound of this acoustic guitar packs plenty of volume, and when amplified, all of these tonal features are given faithful prominence by the high-quality LR Baggs Stage Pro Element preamp and matching piezo pickup that have been fitted. The side mounted control panel is armed with a detailed three-band EQ alongside phase and notch buttons for sculpting a fully reliable, custom on-stage sound.

Eased Playability and an Ultra-Stable Neck

The tighter feel of the grand auditorium body shape offers effortless comfort while the open-pore finish and butter-soft feel of the V-profile neck eases chord grip and fret navigation. The ultra-stable neck has been constructed using the renowned CNR system so that it can be adjusted with surgical precision, providing a fully personalised setup.
