General

Fender's Redondo Classic is an all-solid electro-acoustic steel-string dreadnought guitar from the California series. It has a great look, a great sound and a great feel too thanks to its C profile neck maple with satin-gloss finish. The pau ferro fretboard has a 15.75-inch radius which also enhances this model's playing comfort.

Redondo Classic: wood types and sound

This Redondo Classic has a top made of solid spruce with the back and sides being made of solid mahogany. The entire body has been given a high-gloss polyurethane finish. The wood types chosen give this guitar a bright, rich sound with sweet, warm accents. The bridge saddle and string nut are both made of bone to ensure excellent sustain. When it comes to the amplified sound, you can rest assured that none of the acoustic properties will be lost thanks to the preamplifier that was jointly designed by Fender and Fishman and voiced especially for the Redondo.

Wrote the following about Fender Redondo Classic Cosmic Turquoise with gig bag

Op videos van de NAMM juli 2018 zag ik , dat fender deze gitaar in het assortiment had opgenomen. De hals van een straat op een acoustische gitaar. How cool is that!? Een snelle soepel spelende acoustische gitaar met lage actie. Ik was er gelijk,op weg.
Het geluid is niet te vergelijken met een andere dreadknot body. Er zit een prak elongata, twinkeling... iets speels in de klant die toch erg rijk en vol is.

Na twee weken in bezit gelijk met een acoustische optreden de vuurdoop. 3 x 45 minuten een genot om te bespelen. De opdracht gever van de gig kwam not tijdens het spelen langs om te vertellen, dat de gitaar zowel esthetisch als qua klank erg mooi is.

Kortom I love her.
