If you're looking for a good guitar to start learing how to play or as a spare around the house, Fender offers this CD-140SCE from their Classic Design series. It's a high-quality, affordable steel-string guitar with a built-in pickup for amplification. It has mahogany back and sides that ensure strong sound projection and a solid mahogany top that gives the overall tone extra definition. The mahogany neck and rosewood fretboard of this guitar complete the tonal palette and offer a gorgeous balanced sound. A special detail is the string nut, which is made of Graph Tech Nubone.
Fender & Fishman
Fender has equipped this guitar with their special Easy-to-Play neck with rolled fretboard edges, which adds to the overall playing comfort of this accessible Dreadnought. You'll have plenty of volume to work with when playing this guitar at home, but if you use it for a live performance, it's handy to be able to amplify it. For this reason, Fender equipped it with a Fishman CD Preamp system that has a 2-band EQ and a built-in tuner. No matter where you are, you can be assured of a top-quality amplified sound. What's more, the Fender Classic Design CD-140SCE Dreadnought comes complete with a case, which means it's ready to take with you on the road!
