General

Country superstar, Toby Keith and Takamine have joined forces to create this magnificent Signature guitar. The resulting EF250TK is made to the exact specifications of the popular American singer-songwriter. This electro-acoustic steel-string guitar is based on his old, familiar Pro Series Takamine TF250SMCSB but with some significant differences. The EF250TK is fitted with a jumbo-sized soundboard for a full sound, a cutaway for better access to the higher frets and additional, luxurious features. Naturally, this high-end guitar comes with a deluxe case.

Features of the Takamine EF250TK

The soundboard of this steel-string guitar is made of beautifully flamed maple and has a solid top made of spruce. Mahogany was used for the neck, featuring a 20-fret, ebony fretboard. Everything is beautifully finished with a sunburst lacquer. The fretboard is fitted with chic-block inlays, made of white mother-of-pearl and abalone, a material that can also be found around the soundhole in the form of a rosette. The rosewood bridge was designed without bridge pins for more streamlined string changing and the split bone saddle allows for more accurate intonation. At the heel of the neck you can find Toby Keith's signature and the front of the headstock features a medallion imprinted with his silhouette.

CTB4 II Preamplifier

The EF250TK Toby Keith Signature is equipped with Takamine's patented Palathetic pickup to allow for the best possible amplification. This pickup provides a faithful, natural reproduction of the guitar's sound and strikes an excellent balance between warmth and clarity, as well as between the volume of each individual string. This guitar also features Takamine's much-appreciated CT4B II preamplifier, providing volume controls, a 3-band equalizer and a built-in chromatic tuner. The tuner also allows you to adjust the calibration from 438 to 445 Hz, for alternative tunings.

Takamine EF250TK Toby Keith Signature Sunburst
Wrote the following about Takamine EF250TK Toby Keith Signature Sunburst
Deze jumbo van Takamine doet absoluut niet onder voor de andere, veel duurdere U.S.A. jumbo's van bijv. Gibson, Guild of Martin.
