General
The Squier SA-105CE BK electro-acoustic guitar is a more affordable take on a classic Fender dreadnought. Squire build guitars with all the aesthetics, quality and playability that would be expected from a Fender instrument, but at a much more attainable price. Ideal for beginners, but also a great pick for the hobbyist on a tight budget, the naturally finished Squier SA-105CE steel-string is well worth your attention.
The Squier SA-105CE: The Build
Just like the normal acoustic version (the SA-105), this electro-acoustic features a laminated spruce soundboard and a laminated nato back, sides and neck - a wood combo that results in bright and defined, full acoustic sound. The dreadnought body has also been given a deep cutaway to ensure that the highest of the twenty frets can be reached with comfortable ease.
Built-in Preamp
This Squier model comes kitted out with a Fender-developed FE-A2 preamp and pickup system so it can be jacked directly into an acoustic amplifier or PA system to play live gigs or plugged into an audio interface to record. The preamp control panel provides a full set of controls for tweaking the tone and volume and, as a handy edition, also comes with a built-in tuner.
