Looking for a classic Ovation Roundback guitar finished with premium details and maximum playing comfort? This is the CE48 Exotic from The Celebrity Collection. Thanks its round and lightweight Lyrachord composite back, this stage-ready electro-acoustic guitar offers optimum comfort when playing standing up, shaping balanced, focussed lows and crystal-clear trebles. The mahogany neck, 10" fretboard radius and relatively short 25.3" scale length combine for excellent playability while, for extra-deluxe looks, Ovation have furnished the CE48 with a beautifully-grained, figured koa top, abalone position markers and several other welcome features.

The CE48 Exotic: Multi-Sound Hole Design & Flexible Amplified Sound

As you've no doubt noticed, this steel-stringed Ovation guitar doesn't have a traditionally centred sound hole. Instead, the wooden epaulettes on both sides of the upper bout feature multiple smaller sound holes with different dimensions. This special multi-sound hole design guarantees enhanced individual note clarity and helps to reduce feedback to a minimum, while an under-saddle piëzo pickup and the OP-4CT preamp loaded with a 3-band EQ assure you of a versatile plugged-in sound.
