With the Artwood Series AW247CE, Ibanez link the past with the present, offering an affordable, modern electro-acoustic guitar that's built on tradition. The dreadnought-sized body has been topped with a solid okoume soundboard and supported by a matching okoume back and sides, guaranteeing an extra-resonant foundation sound. Furnished with a wide neck and fretboard, this model will feel extra snug in larger hands, or the hands of guitarists that are used to classical models.

The Ibanez AW247CE: A Stage-Ready Set-Up

The nyatoh neck has been given a comfy AW profile while the bridge and fretboard have been made from ovangkol which, combined with the body, results in bright acoustic sound laced with enhanced mids and defined trebles. So the core sound can be amplified in full, this Ibanez Artwood Series guitar comes fitted with a T-bar undersaddle pickup that's been teamed up with an AEQ-TP2 preamp, setting you up with volume, treble and bass controls, plus the practical addition of a built-in tuner.
