Ibanez present the Altstar Series ALT20: an affordable electro-acoustic flattop guitar that boasts various electric guitar-style features, including a 6-in-line headstock. What's more, this dreadnought-sized model features a Comfort Grip neck a 25.5-inch scale length and a relatively flat 15.75-inch fretboard radius for superior playability.

The ALT20: Sapele Top and Body

The Ibanez ALT20 has a sapele top, back and sides, which not only have a satin-gloss paint-job but offer a mahogany-like core sound with slightly more definition across the higher register. The maple neck adds a sweet bit of punch, while the pre-installed extra-light strings keep the feel nice-and-light, indulging guitarists who are making the step over from an electric guitar. Outfitted with an undersaddle pickup, a fuss-free AEQ-2UT preamp and an integrated tuner, this Altstar model is ready for anything.

Voor mij 5 sterren. De dunne nek en het fredboard (22 bereikbare frets) maken dat deze gitaar een erg goeie keuze is voor mensen die ook eens graag willen scheuren op een akoestische gitaar. Het is een Ibanez, je ziet en voelt dat ook. Ze klinkt heel zuiver. Ik vind ze ook heel mooi. Voor country, folk, singer songwriter, zou ik ze niet
aanbevelen. Er zijn warmere alternatieven. Deze gitaar is prijs/kwaliteit een topper voor rockers, metalheads en mensen die gewoon eens iets anders willen.
