Part of the esteemed Platinum Collection, the Ibanez AE440 electro-acoustic guitar boasts superior build quality and sound to match. One of the first premium features that stands out is the immaculate finish, followed by the specially selected woods. The modernly contoured body is made entirely of solid African mahogany, while the ultra-stable, thermo-aged neck has been carved from 5-piece African mahogany and pau ferro. Add that to the elegant Macassar ebony fretboard and matching scalloped bridge and throw in the real bone nut and saddle, and you've got a recipe for mesmerising acoustic warmth.

The AE440: Superior Amplified Sound

It's not just the velvety satin-gloss finish of this Ibanez guitar that feels great - the same goes for the specially-developed Advanced Comfort Grip neck profile in combination with the relatively flat 15.75-inch fretboard radius and twenty jumbo frets. Meanwhile, the AP11 magnetic & contact pickups and Ibanez Custom Electronics preamp system make sure you can steer the sound of the AE440 in any preferred direction, with the two fitted outputs giving you the option to go for mono or stereo sound. Lastly, in addition to a truss rod adjustment tool, this Platinum Collection model comes including a sturdy hardshell case.
