Taking the Paramount Series another step further, Fender introduce the fully matured PD-220E: an affordable electro-acoustic guitar that combines modern craftsmanship with various deeply-appreciated vintage touches. This dreadnought guitar has an all-solid construction, which means every part of the body has been made using solid wood: Sitka spruce for the top and ovangkol for the body. As a result, its classic steel-string sound is lent a rich tonal character and sweet, woody trebles, while the offset X-bracing only puts more emphasis on the already rich resonance and adds an extra dose of mids. This FSR guitar even comes complete with a deluxe black hardshell case so it can be safely lugged to gigs or rehearsals.
The PD-220E: Simple Yet Effective Amplification And a Snug Feel
Fender have equipped this Paramount dreadnought with the Sonitone Plus Soundhole Pickup System, which has been specially designed in collaboration with Fishman. This user-friendly system includes a classic Sonitone undersaddle piezo pickup teamed up with a body-sensing pickup fitted below the soundboard, and comes with nothing but a volume pot and a blend control so you can dial in spot-on tone in just seconds. Lastly, it's worth mentioning that this Fender PD steel-string owes its natural playing comfort to a C-profile neck and a smooth coat of non-stick satin-gloss all over.

opzichte van mijn huidige gitaar.
Ik speelde op een Fender CD-60S, maar dit is van een hele andere klasse zeg ik als beginnend speler.
Kijk ik naar de afwerking en de specs van deze gitaar dan kan ik maar ėėn ding
zeggen ‘klasse’.
Zowel het geluid als het aanslaan van de snaren is zoveel anders….wil je je graag verbeteren
Qua gitaar en je bent ook een Fender liefhebber, dan zou ik hiervoor gaan.
En door Bax was het keurig en netjes verpakt en op de afgesproken rijd
Keurig bezorgd.
