Want something a tad more manageable than a dreadnought but without compromising on sound? Take a closer look at the Fender Monterey Standard concert flattop. Crafted mainly out of sapele wood, this slightly smaller-bodied electro-acoustic guitar keeps the low frequencies in check, resulting in beautifully defined sound that continues to pack enough fullness of tone whether you strum or pluck the strings.

The Monterey Standard: Balanced Amplified Sound, Supple Playing Feel

Fender have equipped the Monterey Standard with a FE-A2 preamp, which not only comes with two controls and an undersaddle piezo pickup, but a built-in tuner so you're always assured of spot-on sound when you're up on stage. This California Series model has been dipped in satin-gloss lacquer and features a trusty C-profile and a relatively short 24.75-inch scale length for an immediately familiar, supple playing feel.

Ik vond door de bomen het bos niet meer maar wou een semi acoustische gitaar aanschaffen voor een betaalbare prijs, mijn keuze viel uiteindelijk op deze Fender Monterey black en dat is mij nog geen seconde gespeten, neen ze is niet zo mooi afgewerkt dan de veel duurdere modellen maar die klank is fantastisch, en ingeplugd was ik ook zeer verast.
MAW, klein budget, zeer degelijke gitaar met een mooie zuivere klank.
