Wrote the following about Takamine TH90 Hirade with 8CTP-3 Cool Tube and case

Deze gitaar heb ik inmiddels al een jaar in huis en het instrument stelt niet teleur! Je kunt er prima akoestisch op spelen, het geluid is prachtig warm, en word met de tijd alleen maar mooier (dankzij de combinatie van palissander en sparren). Maar versterkt komt dit instrument pas echt tot zijn recht. Wow! Ik speel met D’Addarío ProArte snaren via een Acus Oneforstrings 8 versterker en ik krijg gewoon kippenvel van de zwoele klank die deze combinatie voortbrengt. Of je flamenco, klassiek, bossa of jazz erop speelt, de klank is werkelijk groots. De ingebouwde voorversterker (met buis!) geeft net zo’n goede weergave als direct in een microfoon spelen, maar met het grote voordeel dat je mobiel bent. De cutaway maakt bovenaan de hals spelen natuurlijk ook heel prettig. Enne… het ovale klankgat, stijlvol, toch? Twee aandachtpuntjes: er staan geen stippen op de hals, dus als je dat gewend bent, is het even wennen. En er is geen knop voor een halsband op de hals – die kun je er heel makkelijk opzetten of op laten zetten, en dan kun je ook staand spelen. Een super aanrader voor elke gitarist die een prachtige klassieke klank zoekt met technologisch gemak. Doen!
