This Spanish-born electro-acoustic classical guitar is mounted with a pickup and Fishman preamp. The Perez 690 Cedro Cutaway E2 delivers great, warm sound whether plugged or unplugged, on stage or in the studio. The Perez 690 owes its warmth to the solid red cedar top and solid rosewood sides and back. The supple and incredibly comfortable neck has been made of lightweight cedar and features an ebony fretboard with access cutaway. 

Perez 690 Cedro Cutaway E2: High-Quality Fishman Electronics

The amplified sound of the Perez 690 Cedro Cutaway E2 is delivered by the high-quality Fishman Prefix Pro Blend system. A Fishman Acoustic Matrix piezo pickup sends signal through the built-in preamplifier which includes microphone and tone control, so the signals can be mixed to reach a perfect blend. The tone controls feature a -12 to +12dB boost for bass and treble and a Frequency button to adjust the mid-range while the Contour slide boosts or filters out the mids. As if that wasn't enough, you can use the Phase switch together with the Notch filter to avoid feedback.

Sleek Finish and Thoughtful Detail

Along with the sound and construction, the finish of the Perez 690 Cedro Cutaway E2 exudes quality. This classical guitar is expertly and thoughtfully finished with similar detail as the guitars from Perez's exclusive Luthier series. As such, it features Indian rosewood body bindings on the front and the back, as well as a coloured and entirely handcrafted wooden rosette. The guitar also has an extra-thin high gloss layer for optimal resonance. In order to make this superior instrument easy to transport and keep it protected, it also comes with a rugged, lightweight case.
