General

Ortega's CORAL-NY is a top-quality electro-acoustic classical guitar that's easy to play thanks to its thinline body and extra slim neck. The body is not as deep as most standard classical models which means even players who are used to electric guitars will find it easy to play. Also, unlike most classical guitars, this model has a 2-way truss rod that keeps the neck stable and allows it to be adjusted too. Other features that enhance this model's playing comfort include the 46 mm string nut width and the stylish cutaway that makes it easy to access the higher frets.

CORAL-NY: wood types and sound

When it comes to sound, this classical guitar is pretty impressive too. That's down to the wood types used which include solid sitka spruce for the top that produces a loud, bright tone with a touch of warmth being added by the dao back and sides. The acoustic sound is faithfully reproduced by the Fishman Clasica II preamplifier that includes volume, bass and treble controls as well as a phase switch and a built-in tuner. The Ortega CORAL-NY comes complete with a matching ONB-44 deluxe gig bag and a guitar strap.
