Over at the Ibanez workshop, they've been busy experimenting with different combinations of traditional and less traditional wood types. In the case of the AEG7TN, the sapele back and sides, spruce top, okoume neck and purpleheart fretboard have resulted in a sweet blend of warmth of brightness and, thanks to the AEQ-2T preamp, fitted tone controls and Ibanez Undersaddle Pickup, you can easily share that sound with the rest of the world. Besides that, playability hasn't been overlooked either, and the AEG neck and cutaway provide all the comfort and light feel needed to make this model hum beautiful chords at a thankfully affordable price.

Two New Metal Machines from Ibanez
