General

The Fender CN-240SCE is a classical guitar that may not look so special at first glance, but offers some surprising features. It has a very comfortable 6.98cm-deep thinline body and a Fishman preamplifier on board for superior amplified performance. Furthermore, the cutaway body makes it easy to reach those higher frets, and the solid spruce top and rosewood sides and back give the CN-240SCE its warm and crystal-clear sound.

CN-240SCE: easy to play

Whether you're a big fan of acoustic guitars, or you're an electric guitarist looking to try something different, the Fender CN-240SCE is an excellent option. What's immediately noticeable on this classical guitar is the C profile, instead of the more standard D profile, which makes the neck seem a bit less intimidating. In addition, it has a narrow string nut width of only 45 mm instead of the 48 to 52 mm that is normally used on conventional classical guitars. The result is an instrument with a classic tone and easy, comfortable playability.

Built-in Fishman Isys preamplifier

Thanks to the Fishman Isys III preamplifier, you can use this Fender either with or without amplification. This preamp ensures reliable signal transmission to a mixer, for example. Of course, you can also connect the Fender CN-240SCE to an acoustic instrument amplifier and tweak your sound using the 3-band EQ on the side of the guitar. There, you'll also find a chromatic tuning device, which helps you to tune your strings to the right pitch.

Fender recently announced a number of new mandolins: the Concert Tone Mando Pack , Concert Tone FM52E , Concert Tone FM53S , Concert Tone FM63S and the Concert Tone FM63SE .
