General

The Yamaha YSV-104 Silent Violin guarantees realistic sound and excellent playability, making it ideal for practice sessions but performs just as well on stage. Thanks to SRT Powered technology, the solid body of the YSV boasts all the tone and character of an acoustic violin, while the included control box can be used to select one of two different reverbs: room and hall, so rehearsal sessions can be packed with atmosphere and don't need to sound dry. The control box also comes fitted with an AUX input, so you can plug in an external audio player and play along to your favourite songs and pieces or backing tracks.

The Yamaha YSV104: Easy Switching

While designed to be played in silence or amplified, the Yamaha YSV-104 violin still bears a highly traditional design. The bridge, tailpiece, neck and other parts mimic those of standard acoustic models, making it much easier for violinists to switch between violins without having to make any adjustments. The bow angle and finger placement are also exactly the same, making the Silent Violin ideal for beginners and students looking for an instrument to help hone their technique. This violin also comes finished with a set of D'Addario Zyex synthetic strings, which are especially stable and produce rich and balanced sound.
