General

The brushed teal blue paint job, anodised aluminium pickguard, and nickel-plated hardware of the Yamaha RS820CR shifts the Revstar legacy up a gear. The subtle, steel-wool brushed lacquer lends this electric guitar an industrial, even steampunk-flavoured look while the signature Revstar racing stripes give a respectful nod to Yamaha's motorcyle-building roots. The incomparable Yamaha RS820CR Revstar comes including a form-fitting gig bag.

Of course, Yamaha also has plenty of experience when it comes to building instruments, and in the deluxe, RS820 edition of the Revstar, that experience shines through in the distinctive, double-cut shaping of the mahogany body and the rich tone and solid punch you get when you combine a solid piece of mahogany with a maple top. The neck has been set in to ensure excellent resonant transfer as well as excellent sustain and slick fret reach, and since this model has been loaded with a TonePros AVT-II bridge, you're also assured of ultra-stable tuning and intonation.
