General

Yamaha's Revstar electric guitar series was inspired by its motorbikes so you can rest assured that each model has a look as impressive as its sound. This Yamaha RS420 has a fantastic Fired Red finish and the chrome hardware adds to its stylish appearance. It's warm, rich sound is delivered to an amplifier via two Alnico humbuckers. The push/pull switch gives this attractively-priced model a wide range of sound possibilities too.

RS420: optimal playing comfort

Guitars in the Revstar range have a scale length of 24.75 inches which means they have a lower string tension than models with a longer scale length. This makes techniques like string bending easier allowing you to play impressive solos more comfortably. The Yamaha RS420 is also excellent for playing chords thanks to the 43 mm wide string nut.

Revstar: something for everyone

The Revstar electric guitars have been designed in such a way that every detail adds to their character. From their rounded lines to their newly-developed body shape to their stylish finish, everything about these electric guitar highlight Yamaha's years experience and excellent craftsmanship. Guitars in the Revstar collection are just as diverse as the guitarists who play them .
