Built with pride and near-surgical precision in Japan, the Yamaha PACP12 Pacifica Professional takes the range to a whole new level of tonal flexibility. High-end from every possible angle, the body of this electric guitar has been finished using complex Acoustic Design technology, all to guarantee a refined foundation and an outstandingly balanced response. While the shaping and the finish give this model its mouth-watering, throwback South Californian vibe, the playability is fully up to spec, treating modern guitarists to a healthy dose of vintage aesthetics as well as plenty of comfort and speed. Every example of this Yamaha six-string comes complete with a hardshell case and a Certificate of Authenticity.
The Yamaha PACP12 Pacifica Professional: Clarity, Expression & Elasticity
The mounted set of Reflectone pickups spoon out expressive, responsive and ultra-defined, crystal clear amplified sound that's been carefully calibrated to support any technique, any playing style and any genre. If you're looking for a good reason to add this high-performance wonder to your collection, then it's worth knowing that these pickups were exclusively designed for this model in collaboration with Rupert Neve Designs. The HSS configuration is as flexible as things get, and since it comes backed up by a five-way switch, two volume pots and a tone pot that doubles as a push-pull coil-split switch, the PACP12 Pacifica Professional might actually be the ultimate in elastic tone.
A Reliable Feel, Deluxe Vibes & Smooth Playability
The snug body contouring will already make this guitar feel like an immediate extension of your very being, but when you add on the slim, custom-tinted-satin, C-profiled neck and the 10 inch to 14 inch compound radius, it's like you're hugging an old friend. The less-usual compound radius supports a solid chord-grip closer to the headstock, while light and nimble lead work feels more and more effortless the closer you get to the body. All of this is firmly backed up by the full set of twenty-two wear-resistant stainless-steel medium frets and, since this is the Pacifica Professional, it also features the professional tuning stability of a full pack of Gotoh locking tuners plus a Gotoh two-point 510T FE-1 tremolo bridge.
