General

Yamaha's Pacifica guitars are highly popular for their comfortable feel and high-quality sound. The 612VII Solid Black offers all the standard high-grade characteristics, but adds two single-coil pickups and a humbucker by Seymour Duncan to the mix, as well as a vintage Wilkinson tremolo and Grover Locking Tuners. All of these excellent components are mounted on an alder Pacifica body that is securely connected to a smooth maple neck with a rosewood fretboard by means of a bolt-on neck joint. The black 612VII delivers a full, clear core sound with well-rounded trebles and a nice touch of sustain.

Pacifica 612VII: Seymour Duncan SSL-1 and Custom 5

This electric solid-body guitar is equipped with Seymour Duncan pickups in an HSS configuration. Play this Yamaha amplified and you have a clear vintage Alnico 5 foundation that suits various styles of music. The SSL-1 single-coils in neck and middle position produce a sparkling tone that takes you straight back to the 1950s. The Custom 5 humbucker in bridge position, on the other hand, produces the core sound of a 59 double-coil pickup, but adds more power, a mid scoop, and balanced trebles and bass. A five-way pickup switch allows you to choose between five outstanding sounds. Furthermore, you'll find a volume knob and a tone knob for filtering the high frequencies.

Tuning stability and user-friendliness

The Yamaha Pacifica 612VII is equipped with six Grover locking machine heads that automatically lock the strings while you're tuning, ensuring optimal tuning stability. They also make it easier and faster to change your strings. Additionally, the guitar features a vintage-style tremolo from the renowned Wilkinson company, which sets itself apart by its stability and supple feel. Thanks to a self-lubricating Graphtech TusQ XL string nut, you can really hit that tremolo bar without affecting your tuning.
