General
The Pacifica 112 J has been one of Yamaha's best-selling guitars for more than 10 years. This success has a lot to do with its low price, which is unusual for a guitar with a solid alder body. It also has to do with the fact that this guitar can produce both vintage and rock sounds equally well thanks to its powerful humbucker and two bright single-coil pickups. Made with the famous Yamaha craftsmanship, it has excellent playability and an attractive finish, making the Pacifica 112 J an ideal choice for beginners and advanced players. It's available in five different colours, one of which is this natural matte yellow colour known as Yellow Natural Satin.
Pacifica 112 J YNS: first-class Yamaha craftsmanship
Although the Pacifica 112 J is incredibly affordable, Yamaha has still constructed the body from alder. This incredibly musical wood type has a beautiful, full sound with great balance between lows, mids and highs, and is typically found on models in more expensive price classes. Maple is used for the neck, which is equipped with a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard. Thanks to Yamaha's sleek, thin profile design, the neck is super comfortable and easy to play. The bridge is a tremolo bridge which can tilt in the middle with the included handle to create subtle or dramatic vibrato effects. Furthermore, the Pacifica 112J is equipped with a set of strong, stable closed die-cast oil bath tuners.
Versatile H-S-S pickup configuration
The Yamaha Pacifica 112 J has an H-S-S pickup configuration, meaning there is a humbucker in the bridge position and single-coils in the middle and by the neck. The humbucker has a cool sound with a high output making it ideal for rougher music, like hard rock and metal. The single-coils have a more vintage output and a tight, clear sound. This combination makes the Pacifica 112 incredibly versatile and capable of adapting to diverse playing and music styles. Finally, you'll find volume and tone knobs on the top of the guitar, plus a 5-way switch for choosing between the sounds from the 3 pickups or combinations thereof.

Het product werd zeer goed verpakt bezorgd dus geen beschadigingen.
Voor een beginnend gitarist zoals ik, is deze gitaar zeker een aanrader.
Prijs kwaliteit verhouding is perfect je hebt zeker waar voor je geld.
Ik ben dik tevreden
Afwerking is in vergelijking met mijn Richwood RE-192 echt super. Alles voelt degelijk aan en nergens onafgewerkte plekken te vinden. Volume knop laade de gitaar langzaam naar voren komen. Iets wat je niet vaak ziet bij een gitaar in deze prijsklasse.
Handleiding geeft duidelijke uitleg over het afstellen van de gitaar met de meegeleverde tools. Al was de gitaar bij mij al prima afgesteld.
Kleur van de foto wijkt iets af. Gitaar is iets doffer en lichter in het echt.
