Construction of the Yamaha Pacifica 112 J BL
This Pacifica 112J is equipped with an alder body - an option that you won't often find on a guitar in this price class. This lightweight wood delivers a balanced tone with tight, full basses, rich mids and wonderfully sweet trebles. The maple neck is bolted onto the body and equipped with a 22-fret rosewood fretboard. Moreover, it's been given a sleek, slender profile for an easy, comfortable grip. A set of supple yet solid tuners keeps the guitar in optimal tuning, and you can use the vintage-style tremolo bridge to create all kinds of vibrato effects. Stylish. Sleek. Complete.
Versatile H-S-S pickup configuration
The Yamaha Pacifica 112 J has an H-S-S pickup configuration, which means that there is a humbucker in the bridge position and a single-coil in the middle and by the neck. The humbucker has a cool sound with a high output making it ideal for rougher music like hard rock and metal. The single-coils have a more vintage output and a tight, clear sound. This combination makes the Pacifica 112J incredibly versatile and capable of adapting to diverse playing and music styles. Finally, you'll find volume and tone knobs on the top of the guitar, plus a 5-way switch for choosing between the sounds from the 3 pickups or combinations thereof.
