General

This isn't one of those off-brand replicas, it's the real Phantom deal, made by VOX! After many wanderings, this quirky electric guitar model is back in its rightful place. Also known as the VOX Mark V, this guitar features the famous pentagonal body and characteristic headstock. It's a rugged, affordable instrument - seen here with the attractive black finish - and it also comes with a gig bag.

Mark V: a remarkable classic

If you're about to purchase this classic guitar, then you don't just have the fun design to look forward to, but also a clear sound that's great for blues, rock and country. It features a traditional three-single-coil setup that generates that famous bright single-coil sound, and it can be adjusted in detail with the 5-way pickup switch, volume control and tone knob. A vintage tremolo is also included for vibrato effects.

VOX Teardrop and Phantom

The unique design of the VOX Teardrop and Phantom guitars dates back to the early sixties and still captures the imagination today. It's no wonder that second-hand models sold for high prices in the long period that VOX wasn't producing these electric guitars. However, lucky for you, some time ago they came out with the comparable Apache series, and not long after that VOX brought out the Mark III and the Mark V, due to popular demand.
