Built to harness the very waves, the Vintage Surfmaster Quad is an inspired addition to the EVO Series. Just like its siblings, this thinline beauty has been lovingly designed in the UK with the capable help of pickup-guru Alan Entwistle, giving you the timeless vibe of an offset electric guitar alongside the life-packed, warm and resonant sound of a semi-hollow okoume body complete with the added flair of an f-hole and the mega-versatile output of a four-pickup loadout, all supported a small army of controls.

The Vintage Surfmaster Quad: Dial in 75 Possible Profiles

The Quad takes its name from the full quartet of Entwistle RTS3 Astrosonic pickups neatly lined up along the middle of the pickguard. This setup alone delivers a breathtaking range of bell-like single-coil sounds, which can not only be dialled in to support classic surf, but alt-rock, new-wave, and anything else you'd care to shake this sonic stick at. Combined with the set of four individual on/off pickup switches, you're getting no-less-than fifteen possible pickup configurations, and when you add on the ATN Variator switching system, you have a mind-melting seventy-five sound profiles to scroll through. A flexible wonder of a six-string side-kick, this explosive guitar has definitely been built for adventure.

Wrote the following about Vintage REVO Series Surfmaster Quad Firenza Red Electric Guitar

Het is een prachtige gitaar met oneindig veel klankmogelijkheden.
De "actie" was een ietsje te hoog voor mij maar dat was binnen de kortste keren op mijn maat aangepast.
De tonaliteit was ook ok.
De iets dikkere arm vraagt wel om wat "in te spelen", echter ook geen probleem.
Geen krassen of beschadigingen gezien of gevonden, dus ook ok.
Qua bestelling, betaling en levering: 100% tevreden, de gitaar werd geleverd volgens de belofte van Bax, dus s'anderendaags na de besteldag, dat gebeurt zeer weinig maar zij zijn er toch in geslaagd.
Om te eindigen, ik ben tot nu toe een zeer tevreden klant, hopelijk blijft dat ook zo.
