Expertly honed to guarantee flawless playability, this is the .strandberg* Boden Standard NX 7 Tremolo seven-string electric guitar. The solid American basswood body has been trimmed right down to reduce the weight even further before being finished with ergonomic contouring and topped with a slice of flame maple to bring the aesthetics fully up to spec. Since the headstock has also been removed, this model weighs just 2.5 kilos, all in the aim of reducing the playing fatigue and shoulder and neck aches that can happen during long sessions, and making the life of the professional guitarist that much more comfortable. Every example of the Boden Standard NX 7 comes with a pre-installed set of D’Addario NYXL 095-64 strings and a Standard gig bag.
The .strandberg* Boden Essential 6: An Even Faster Neck
All Strandberg models are renowned for their neck, and this seven-string is no exception. Made from quarter-sawn maple, the neck has been given the exclusive EndurNeck profile and the fretboard features an extremely flat 20 inch radius. These details, coupled with the progressive multi-scale setup which graduates from 25.5 inches at the high-E to 26.25 inches at the low-B, guarantee flawless intonation and a tight feel, no matter how technical the work gets. Thanks to the stable .strandberg* EGS Rev7 tremolo system, you also gain direct access to smooth and responsive vibrato effects.
Wide-Ranging Sound
The Boden Standard NX 7 Tremolo has also been kitted out with a pair of custom-developed humbuckers complete with master tone and volume pots and a five-way switch that flips through a breathtaking tonal array. Basically, no matter the genre, this guitar can be dialled in and tweaked to back it up with definition and finesse. And, to ease note-navigation no matter the light conditions, both the fretboard and the side of the neck have been lined with a set of Original Luminlay dots.

Geen neck dive, de jack input zit niet op een onhandige plek geplaatst, en de gitaar kwam tot mijn grote verbazing (bijna goed) gestemd en geintoneerd toen het uit de doos in het magazijn gehaald werd. Ik heb echt geen idee hoe ze dat voor elkaar hebben gekregen, maar petje af hoor.

Overigens nog een gemeende dankjewel voor het winkelpersoneel in het filiaal van Rotterdam, die hebben mij keurig geholpen met al mijn vragen en konden met oprechte enthousiasme meepraten over nerderig gitaar jargon
