The Trans Blue Sterling by Music Man SUB AX3 is the only guitar for starting players or hobby guitarists who can't resist the classic looks of the famous Music Man Axis Super Sport. This budget-friendly version offers essential properties of the guitar that was made for Eddie van Halen. For example, the SUB AX3 has the characteristic-looking body with zebra-style pickups and a quilted maple veneer.
Tone and comfort of the SUB AX3
Together with the 5-way pickup switch, the powerful humbuckers of this guitar produce a veritable array of versatile sounds. Add to that the fact that this electric axe features a tremolo bridge for subtle vibrato effects, as well as comfortable features such as deep cutaways (to easier reach the highest frets) and smooth, satin-soft lacquered neck, and you can instantly tell that this is an amazing guitar for its price! An affordable, reliable rocker!
Rugged construction
The 22-fret maple neck of the Sterling by Music Man SUB AX3 is bolted to the body with five screws, a solid construction that enhances tonal transference and sustain. Should you ever wish to adjust the neck, doing so is child's play. The characteristic Music Man truss rod nut is on the end of the neck and can easily be adjusted without removing the neck or strings.

Ik heb trouwens de indruk dat veel problemen die ik in oudere reviews lees zoals de softe humbuckers en ruwe randen van de frets, goedkoop ogende toplaag hier ontbraken. Humbuckers zijn héél goed en zeer helder (P90-fan), geen ruwe randjes en de toplaag was voor mij net het argument om er ook eentje te willen!
