With the Sabre, Sterling by Music Man serve up a six-string thriller gifted with highly adaptable tone, buttery-smooth playability and the deluxe charm of a nyatoh body that's been contoured in all the right places and topped with flamed maple. Fully equipped with a pair of Fishman Fluence Modern pickups, this model delivers crystal clear sound, no matter how hard you push the gain, and by toggling the push-pull volume and tone pots, the output of these dual-voiced pups can be flipped from modern to vintage and back again in the blink of a little eye - opening up a fat can of profiles.

The Sterling by Music Man Sabre: Stable Playability

One of the standout features of the Sabre has to be the neck. Bound to the body via a five-bolt join, this ultra-stable neck has been carved from roasted maple and finished with a rounded heel to ease access to every last one of the twenty-two stainless steel frets. Another nice bonus is the fitted set of locking tuners, which don't just support quick string changes but keep the tuning solid no matter how extreme the playing gets. Because it only makes sense, this superior Sterling by Music Man offering comes pre-wrapped in a deluxe gig bag.
