The Sterling JPM6 is a well priced version of the Music Man Majesty. The name Majesty is derived from the band that later became, yes, you've guessed it, Dream Theater. This model is the result of John Petrucci's long search for a guitar that matches his very demanding requirements. That's why this instrument has one most ergonomic and well balanced designs on the market. The set-in neck construction gives unlimited access to the whole fretboard. In short, the Sterling JPM6 Majesty in Stealth Sapphire embodies everything that John Petrucci stands for: innovation and versatility.

JPM6 Majesty Sapphire Blue: practical design

Thanks to his years of experience, John Petrucci knows exactly which design elements take a guitar to a higher level. The strings for instance, run dead straight through the string nut to improve the tuning stability and intonation. Locking tuners and the modern floating tremolo bridge also play a part in this. Guitarists who have spent a long time learning to play fast, technical solos will want to be heard, of course. That's why the Sterling Majesty has a 12-decibel active volume boost.

John Petrucci: versatile guitar hero

John Petrucci is an American master guitarist, composer and producer. He best known as the founder and lead guitarist in the progressive rock metal band Dream Theater. His 'Rock Discipline' instructional video is the Bible for many aspiring guitarists. Petrucci's style is characterised by his technical skills and super fast alternate picking. He is also very keen on playing 7-string guitars. It helps him to write and provides a solid foundation for his dazzling solos.
