The Majesty is undoubtedly the crown jewel in the John Petrucci Signature series and, here's the good news: this innovative electric guitar is now available in an attractively-priced Sterling by Music Man version. The MAJ100 has an ergonomically-shaped mahogany body that puts all twenty-four medium frets within easy reach, while the flat 16-inch fretboard radius reduces the force needed to hold down chords and notes.

The Majesty: Modern Masterpiece

The Dream Theater guitarist choose to put a push/pull volume potentiometer on this Sterling Majesty so that you've got an active 12 dB volume boost at your disposal whenever you need to give your sound a kick in the behind. Meanwhile, the modern, 2-point floating tremolo bridge supports all sorts of vibrato shenanigans while keeping the instrument from dropping out of tune with the help of a set of locking tuners, which also speed up re-strings.

John Petrucci: A Versatile Guitar Legend

John Petrucci is an American guitarist, composer and producer who's best known as the founder and lead guitarist of progressive metal band, Dream Theater. His 'Rock Discipline' instructional video is basically the Bible for many aspiring rock guitarists. Petrucci's playing style is characterised by his technical skills and lightning-fast alternate picking. He also regularly plays a 7-string electric guitar which gives him even more scope for his stunning solos.
