Based on the iconic design of the OG Ernie Ball Music Man Signature JP6, the Sterling John Petrucci JP60 features the same fire-breathing output wielded by the Dream Theater guitarist, but comes at a more attainable price. The smartly designed, solid nyatoh body keeps the weight comfortably low and has been finished with a forearm scoop, giving your playing hand smooth access when resting on the bridge and helping to reduce playing fatigue to complete a highly impressive model, especially given the price tag.

The Sterling JP60: The Details

The ultra-flat 16 inch fretboard radius fully speeds up playability while a set of locking tuners ensures quick string-changes as well as solid tuning and, another nice detail (besides the solid performance of the modern tremolo bridge) is the JP Shield position marker at the first fret. Plug it in and the mounted pair of passive humbuckers deliver a wide, variable range of warm cleans, tight rhythms and full leads, making this model an exceptional work-mate for progressive guitarists that want to do far more than just break speed-shredding records. To finish, the Sterling JP60 comes complete with a deluxe gig bag.
