General

While faithful to its traditional roots, the Sterling by Music Man Axis offers contemporary yet affordable playability. The lightweight poplar body has been finished with a deluxe flamed-maple top and mounted with a pair of thick passive humbuckers with a five-way selector switch for toggling through a broad spectrum of foundation sounds.

The Axis AX3FM: Refined Playability

The Sterling by Music Man AX3FM has an undeniably unique character that's not only shaped by its far-reaching sound but its refined level of playability. The asymmetrical neck has been bound to the body with five bolts for ultimate stability and vibrational transfer and feels natural in the hand, while the 12-inch radius of the maple fretboard and set of 22 narrow frets ensure a snug grip.
