Squier's Classic Vibe Stratocaster '60s Burgundy Mist is part of their Classic Vibe series, a line of guitars that has gotten some excellent reviews, which is striking, as you get an enormous amount of quality (concerning the finish as well as the sound) for these guitars' low price. Their high quality finish makes that these guitars aren't just suited for starting players, but also for advanced players and semi-pros can hit the stage confidently. The model you see here is a sixties-style Strat with an impressive purple body, a matching purple headstock and a mint-green pickguard.

Classic Vibe Strat '60s Burgundy Mist: three single-coils

The core of this guitar consists of three vintage-style single-coil pickups mounted to a pleasantly resonating alder body. The alnico V magnets of these single-coil pickups produce the clear-sounding Classic Vibe Strat's fat sound, fast attack and powerful output of a sixties Stratocaster. Each of the magnets was individually positioned for an optimal tonal balance. The 5-way pickup switch, volume control and tone knobs enable the essential fine tuning. A tremolo arm couldn't be omitted of course, and it allows you to spark up the sound of your guitar with mild vibrato effects.

Squier and the Classic Vibe series

The most famous Fender guitars are the Stratocaster, the Telecaster, the Precision Bass and the Jazz Bass. Through the years, many manufacturers have tried to imitate them. However, Fender wanted to provide amateur guitarists with their own, affordable alternative and so started their daughter company Squier in 1982. These instruments are built by specifications and under supervision of Fender. The Classic Vibe series is a beloved Squier series that was based on vintage Fender designs. Each of these exceptionally finished electric guitars and bass guitars provide an impressive sound at a remarkably sharp price.
