With the budget-friendly Squier Bullet, you can follow in the footsteps of Jimi Hendrix, Yngwie Malmsteen and John Mayer. These guitarists have really made the Stratocaster a truly iconic instrument. With a slimmer body and neck, the Squier Bullet series is geared towards beginning guitarists. These adjustments make the instrument much more manageable for enthusiastic starters.
Construction
The characteristic body of the Bullet Start is made of lightweight linden for a pleasantly balanced sound. The light-coloured maple neck features a dark-coloured laurel fretboard to give the overall sound extra warmth. Of course, a guitar such as this one can't do without a tremolo and you'll also find three single-coil pickups. Together with the five-way pickup switch, they provide that typical, beloved Stratocaster sound. This white edition really brings out the beautiful design of the Bullet Start.
The Squier brand
Nowadays, beginner guitarists have a lot more options to choose from than twenty years ago. In order to offer beginner (bass) guitarists a reliable and affordable alternative, Fender started a subsidiary called Squier, in 1982. This means that Squier guitars and bass guitars are built according to Fender's specifications and under their supervision. Despite fierce competition, the Squier Bullet series is still incredibly popular. It makes sense as they are excellent guitars, especially when you consider their incredibly friendly price. Came on time, in perfect condition and also didn't need to set it up (just minor adjustments for my type of playing).

De gitaar was goed verpakt en eenmaal uitgepakt waren er geen beschadigingen aan de onderdelen en afwerking van de gitaar. Even stemmen en spelen maar, de gitaar was bijna perfect afgesteld, speelt erg fijn. Tremolo werkt prima, gitaar ontstemt niet als je hem normaal gebruikt. Stemknoppen zijn oké, ontstemt wel aardig snel, deze zou ik eventueel later upgraden. Pick-ups klinken goed voor de prijs, had er wel meer van verwacht, deze kun je eventueel ook nog upgraden.
Het enige minpunt voor mij persoonlijk vind ik dat de frets niet compleet zijn afgewerkt, ze moeten nog gepolijst worden. De frets zijn vlak en de randen zijn goed afgewerkt, ervaar ook geen/weinig buzz. Enkel benden gaat heel erg stroef, dit komt doordat ze niet gepolijst zijn, hou hier rekening mee.
Al met al een toffe gitaar voor de beginner of als je gewoon een goedkope en goed speelbare strat wil, dan is dit een prima optie.

Zou hem ook zeker aanraden aan mensen die beginnen met spelen. Ik heb hem zelf voor op mijn studentenkamertje gekocht en daar is 'ie ook zeer geschikt voor; met koptelefoon is 'ie lekker stil, hij is zeker niet te duur en je beleeft er veel plezier aan.
Ook mooi licht, trouwens!
Het enige nadelige dat ik zou kunnen verzinnen zijn de snaren die er standaard op zitten; die vind ik persoonlijk wat minder fijn. Ook is 'ie op sommige plekken iets minder mooi afgewerkt dan een iets duurdere.
Maar al met al: aanrader!
Hij speelt soepel en licht en ziet er gelikt uit .. Ik ga hier veel plezier aan beleven.. Zeer positief verrast..
Het is heel vaak gezegd maar ik ga het nog een keer doen, de service en levering zijn perfect. Netjes, snel, goed ingepakt. Mijn Dank \m/ 0 0 \m/
+\- 30 jaar geleden kocht ik een gibson les paul standard ( toen voor 1600,- gulden)
vele jaren met plezier op gespeeld ( stage en studio)
nu was ik bedieuwd wat je koopt voor iest meer dan 100,-
en ik kan wel zeggen dat het prijs verschil op geen eknele manier te rechtvaardigen valt
nu weet ik ook dat gitaaren van deze prijsklasse niet even constat van kwalietijd zijn
maar de gitaar die ik heb ontvangen is ok. speelt goed, klinkt goed.
kortom zijn geld meer dan waard.
