The Affinity Stratocaster: Flexible Sound

The ultra-versatile sound of the original Fender Stratocaster is fully emulated by a set of three single-coil pickups, each finished with a fresh voicing and fitted with a powerful ceramic magnet. Couple that up with the five-way position selector switch, master volume, and pair of tone controls, and you have all the tools needed to wield the wide-ranging, elastic sonic power of an icon. Whether you want to learn the subtle arts of pop, funk, blues, rock, indie, or grunge, the Affinity Strat is more than willing, and definitely able.

The Details

This Squier-made Strat boasts a compulsive level of playability thanks to the smooth and snug feel of the satin-gloss coated C-profile neck, while the modern two-point synchronised tremolo bridge, complete with whammy bar, gives this guitar its tight, low action, and grants full access to subtle or extreme vibrato effects. Six individually adjustable block-saddles have been installed on the bridge for accurate intonation, while the tuning stability is fully assured by the set of newly-improved split-shaft machine heads that finish the classically-shaped headstock.

Alles werkt naar behoren, gitaar is keurig afgewerkt en voldoet voor mij aan alle eisen.
Samen met mijn Spark 40 versterker kan ik de meest voor mij bruikbare geluiden produceren.

Wat een lekkere gitaar om op te spelen! De uitstraling is echt gaaf en dus weer een extra stukje "eyecandy" in huis. Ik had nog geen gitaar met een SSS configuratie en was bang een humbucker te missen .De pickup bij de brug is lekker fel en speel daar mijn "Blackmore" stukkies graag op. Hij blijft bij mij goed gestemd tijdens het spelen en niet te zwaar tremmelo gebruik kan ie prima aan. De frets zijn hier en daar een tikkie te scherp wat mij betreft, maar voor het totaalplaatje en de prijstelling gewoon 5 sterren waard.
