The Affinity Series Stratocaster FMT HSS: Fierce and Flexible Sound
Here, HSS refers to the pickups this Strat's been loaded with. Next to a passive humbucker, the build includes two single-coils and a 5-way pickup switch plus a tone control for maximum tonal flexibility. Super gitaartje, heb vandaag een nieuwe ontvangen omdat ik ontdekte dat bij de eerste die ik kocht een scheurtje in de body zat terwijl ik er amper op gespeeld had, de 30 dagen retour was al lang voorbij maar na contact met klantenservice kon ik hem zonder gedoe terug sturen en werd hij thuis opgehaald, perfecte service van Bax-Shop dus!!

Na een poosje 'spelen' met een akoestische gitaar wilde ik toch de stap maken naar een elektrisch model, mede omdat ik merkte dat ik op een 'splitsing' kwam wat betreft speelmogelijkheden; akkoorden speelden heerlijk weg op mijn elektrisch-akoestische Fender, maar licks bleven vaak te 'kaal'. Hoewel ik weinig vergelijkingsmateriaal heb, was ik meteen positief verrast door het gevoel van deze gitaar! Slank, licht, de nek voelt bijna fluweelachtig aan. Hij nodigt enorm uit om op te spelen. De kleurstelling speelt daar ook zeker een rol in, het rood is in werkelijkheid iets donkerder dan de felle kleur op de foto's, maar het is een prachtig instrument. Doordat hij vol in het zicht in de kamer staat, ben je nóg eerder geneigd om hem even uit het statief te tillen en een stukje te spelen!

Onze dochter kreeg voor haar verjaardag haar eerste elektrische gitaar cadeau. We hebben er in Apeldoorn een aantal getest en deze kwam als beste en meest veelzijdige uit de bus.
De gitaar speelt fantastisch en heeft een fijn geluid. Het maakt niet uit of ze straks blues, metal, jazz, power rock of wat dan ook wil gaan spelen. De afwerking is goed. Er zit niets los of rammelt. Heel blij mee!

Kocht onlangs een Squier strat affinity HSS SS (sienna sunburst) met een mooie tekening op de body. Ik kon hem meteen bij Bax shop in Apeldoorn uitproberen, kopen en meenemen en kreeg er als service nog een gratis hoes bij met 'Fender' er op. Een zeer prettige bediening, erg servicegericht en de auto bijna voor de deur parkeren. Wat wil je nog meer? Een mooie en goede gitaar voor een aantrekkelijke prijs natuurlijk. Nou, dat was deze Squier wel, ik kwam er mee thuis en vanaf dat moment is bij mij de zon gaan schijnen en die hield niet meer op!

Ik was op zoek naar een niet al te dure gitaar voor op mijn studentenkamer. Na wat gegoogle kwam ik uit bij dit model. Voor het geld had ik niet al te hoge verwachtingen maar ik ben positief verrast over de kwaliteit. De gitaar ziet er goed uit, de tuners zijn (tot nu toe) stabiel, de potmeters voelen goed en de afwerking is vrij strak. De elementenschakelaar voelt het goedkoopste aan maar verder heb ik niks op deze gitaar aan te merken. Het is wel een aanrader om er gelijk nieuwe snaren op te zetten en de gitaar naar wens af te stellen. Al met al zeker de moeite waard. Ik betwijfel of je een beter alternatief zult vinden in deze prijsklasse.
