General

Modern features and playability meet vintage sound and familiar, ST-style looks in the Sire S7V. This uncompromising electric guitar has been developed in collaboration with master-guitarist, Larry Carlton, so you get the dependable stability and mature response of a bolt-on roasted maple neck which combines with a rosewood fretboard and an alder body for a classic foundation sound. Authentic amplified tone is set up by three single-coil pickups, a five-way selector switch, a pair of tone pots, and a volume pot, so you can dial in a rich spectrum of sparkling and warm ST-style sound profiles, then throw in a touch of whammy-bar steered vibrato using the stable modern two-point Classic Tremolo bridge, all with the full back up provided by a set of locking tuners.

Wrote the following about Sire Larry Carlton S7V Mild Green Electric Guitar

I tried various Fender strats and wasn't too excited at anything within my £900 budget at my local guitar store. Tried a few other brands before stumbling into the Sire range. Absolutely fell in love with this Green beasty but there was a waiting list.
Went home and hunted online, found it on Bax for £180 less that the store. It turned up 4 days later and is fantastic. Beautiful smooth neck and clear tones.
Very happy boy, plus only spent half my original budget!
