General

From sixties psych-rock outcast to cult-hero, the Rapier Saffire twelve-string keeps things classic while throwing in some flexible, modern perks. Developed under the watchful eye of eminent guitar designer and luthier Alan Entwistle, the twelve-string edition of the Rapier brings all the style of the original and all the playability and stability of some more contemporary upgrades.

High-Grade Finish & Playability

Since the first-gen Rapiers could be notoriously unreliable and a little awkward in terms of playability, the modern incarnation of the Rapier Saffire twelve-string has been given a solid okoume body and a Canadian maple neck with a C-carve and 12 inch radius rosewood fretboard. The twenty-two jumbo frets and slightly wider 49mm nut lighten the feel beneath the fret-hand even further, while allowing enough space for twelve-string chord and riff work. Topping it off, superior sustain, intonation and tuning is assured by a High Spec Roller bridge, a Graph Tech Nubone nut and a set of Wilkinson E-Z-Lok machine heads.

Modern Innovation Meets Throwback Style: The ATN5 Switch

Just like the six-string edition, the Rapier Saffire is voiced by three exclusively designed Alan Entwistle Custom Wound Astrosonic low-noise single-coils that spit full, dynamic and powerful sound that can be varied at will via the five-way selector switch. Tweak the result via the Volume and Tone pots before hitting the ATN5 Switch. This special Varitone-esque switch flips between three different sound profiles: a sweet mid-boost; a lush acoustic-style output; or the authentic sixties-style chime you can hear on every record from the The Byrds to The Beatles.

Super guitare manche extraordinaire peut-être un peu large mais aussi il fait très vite avec lafr zéro réglages du u silet très proche des cordes me fait vraiment penser à une Burns double six les micro Wilkinson sur la preuve à acheter les yeux fermés pour ce prix là

Dit is zo een fantastische gitaar.
Wat een coole look en wat n preciese afwerking.
De nek is zo vlot bespeelbaar en de intonatie stond direct goed. Ik ben volledig weg van deze 12 string. En wet een klankkleurenpalet.

Dankzij bax is deze gitaar verkrijgbaar aan wel een heel scherpe prijs voor zulke gitaar.
