With the Patriot Decree, Michael Kelly present yet another electric guitar with more-than-outstanding value for money and a single-cut mahogany with a beautifully arched maple top. This stunning guitar is home to two over-wound PAF-style humbuckers for full and forceful sound, while the Great 8 Mod can be engaged to tap the pickups via the push/pull volume controls to open up a total of eight different foundation sounds. The modern 12-inch radius of the ebony fretboard and 22 medium jumbo frets bring the playability nicely up to par, while Grover-made machine heads ensure reliable tuning stability. Amazingly adaptable, the Michael Kelly Patriot Decree can be gracefully steered in any direction.

I find the splitting of the coils works well and gives that real twang sound often associated with single-coil guitars.
Very good value for money in my opinion.
