The maple top of the Michael Kelly Custom Collection 50 comes finished in a dapper Burl Burst dressed up with gold-plated hardware. The T-style korina body is considerately lightweight and comes equipped with a surprisingly elastic tone to match the boutique-grade styling. This is partly due to the aptly named 'Quad Mod' - which expands on the standard three pickup configuration settings with an extra-special fourth option that places the pickups in series. The result is a thick and gut punching sound that evokes the fat growl of a humbucker.

Points positif :
- le manche est parfaitement réglé sur mon exemplaire dés la sorties de la boite, pas besoin de toucher au truss rod, j'ai légèrement baissé les pontets et j'obtiens un réglage juste parfait !
- La finition est impeccable la guitare est sublime, surement la plus belle Telecaster que j'ai vu jusqu'ici, la table est bien plus nuancé que sur les photos, un régale pour les yeux.
- Le manche est un autoroute, un peu fin mais on s'y fait vite.
- Envoi soigné et très rapide de la part de Bax-shop, ma commande était parfaitement emballé et protégé
Points négatifs :
- la fiche technique de Michael Kelly indique des frettes en medium jumbo, ce n'est pas le cas, ici on est plus sur du 6230 que du 6130, dépaysant au début puis on s'habitue a pincer les cordes moins fort pour avoir un son propre, et finalement c'est pas si mal !
- le micro manche est un peu faiblard mais rien de trop grave, puis des micros ca se change si jamais !
En bref, un très belle instrument qui va m'accompagner de très longue années, foncez !
