General

Stripped right back to result in a no-nonsense hard-rock machine, the mahogany body of the Kramer Guitars SM-1 H comes armed with a single Seymour Duncan ‘JB’ humbucker. Since the middle and neck pickups have been ripped out, the magnetic pull on the strings is dramatically reduced to increase sustain, while the mahogany neck has been shot straight through the body to complete the superbly stable and resonant neck-through construction. While only mounted with one pickup, this model is no one-trick-pony. Simply toggle the push-pull volume pot to stick the humbucker in series or parallel.

The Kramer Guitars SM-1 H: A Pure Shredder!

It's immediately clear that the Kramer Guitars SM-1 H has been designed exclusively for complex, high-speed work. The K-Speed SlimTaper C neck profile has an astonishingly fluid feel, while the neck-through construction ensures smooth access to the entire length of the ebony fretboard. All of this has been teamed up to support blistering riffs and face-melting solos, and when you add on the Floyd Rose 1000 Series double locking tremolo bridge, you're assured of solid tuning stability no matter how far you push the tremolo arm, while the mini-Kramer headstock position markers that line the fretboard serve as the tasty cherry on top.
