Since the middle and neck pickups have been ripped out, the magnetic pull on the strings is dramatically reduced to increase sustain, while the mahogany neck has been shot straight through the body to complete the superbly stable and resonant neck-through construction. While only mounted with one pickup, this model is no one-trick-pony. Simply toggle the push-pull volume pot to stick the humbucker in series or parallel.
