General
The immortal spirit of Randy Rhoads lives on in the enormous sound, fast playability, and legendary styling of the Jackson X-Series Rhoads RRX24 - granting affordable access to a must-have for any die-hard Randy fan. The neck-through-construction means that the lightweight poplar body has been shot through with an ultra-stable, graphite reinforced neck to enhance vibrational transfer and sustain, while the headstock has been fused to the neck via a seamless scarf joint for a strong connection and a smooth feel. The laurel fretboard has been loaded with 24 jumbo frets and a set of oh-so-recognisable pearloid sharkfin inlays, while the compound radius graduates from 12 inches to 16 inches for a snug grip towards the headstock, and a more fast, fluid, and controlled feel as you get closer to the body.
The Jackson X-Series Rhoads RRX24 : Active Electronics & Dynamic Output
Two Jackson-developed active humbuckers deliver a dynamic and brutal, high-output performance that can be shaped to fit tight rhythms as well as screaming leads using the three-way selector switch and volume and tone pots. Since every self-respecting shredder shouldn't be seen without a Floyd Rose, this model has been adorned with a Floyd Rose Special double-locking system able to keep a stable hold of the tuning, no matter how extreme the flutter and dive-bombs get. To finish, the battle-ready Rhoads RRX24 has been mounted with black hardware and coated in a camo paint-job with matched headstock.
