General

If you're searching for a straight-up metal-and-rock guitar while your budget's stretched a little thin, you've come to the right place. The Jackson X-Series Dinky DK2X offers you everything you want and then some! For starters, this axe has been equipped with a hard-tail bridge where the strings run through the poplar body for maximum sustain, while for that butter-smooth feel, Jackson have bolted in a maple neck finished with satin-gloss lacquer. Reinforced with graphite, the neck is not just superbly stable but more resilient against extreme temperature changes and features a scar-joint near the headstock that helps to limit playing fatigue. The laurel fretboard, meanwhile, comes adorned with classic sharkfin pearloid inlays and has a 12-to-16-inch compound radius for eased chord-grabbing and solo-slinging.

Balanced, Active High-Output Humbuckers

You wanted high output? Done. The DK2X HT comes armed with two of Jackson's own humbuckers for tight lows, glassy mids and a high-end with just the right amount of crunch. Explore the guitar's versatility via the 3-way pickup switch by toggling or combining the balanced pickups, and tweak the tone using the characteristically-designed volume and tone pots. This X-Series axe is a more than dependable side-kick for any hard-rocker and comes finished with black hardware and a classic 6-in-line headstock with a matching finish. This is the Gloss Black model.
